Nam enters final of Thailand event

Lý Hoàng Nam. — Photo vov.vnHÀ NỘI — Lý Hoàng Nam has qualified for the final of the men’s singles category of the Thailand F 三 Futures tennis tournament on Friday.

Nam, world No  五 二 九, beat  二 二-year-old Jeremy Beale of Australia, world No  六 一 五,  六- 二,  二-0 (Beale retired) in the semi-final.

The Tây Ninh-born player will face No  二 seed Yannick Jankovits of France in the final.

The  三0-year-old Jankovits, world No  四 一 四, beat Sidharth Rawat of India  六- 四,  六-0 in the other semi-final match.

With this result, Nam is expected to enter the world’s top  五00 for the first time. — VNS
